Shopping center developer and operator Aeon Mall Co., a core member of Japan’s retail giant Aeon Co. Group., opened its third store in Vietnam in late October 2015 as it aims to expand its business there to 20 stores by 2025. The new mall is their third in the Hanoi area.
The store, Aeon Mall Long Bien, is located in the Long Bien district, some 5 kilometers west of Hanoi’s city center. It has four levels above ground and a basement parking area, and a site area of approximately 96,000 square meters with a gross floor area of 120,000 sq m, AEON MALL Long Bien is the largest project in the country to date. It comprises four floors with 180 outlets, workout gym, food court, and cinema complex. This store expected to attract 13 million customers a year.
Aeon Mall Long Bien is based on Japanese design and quality standards. Following other Aeon Mall projects, Obayashi – is the Japanese general contractor designing and constructing of this project worth USD200 million. And most of the equipment and facilities for the project are carefully selected from Japan or from G7 countries to ensure prestige and quality. The store is a harmonious combination of elements: commerce, cuisine, entertainment, events and new life styles.
Sonha Auto is the sub-contractor for this project. We proposed the ideal solutions regarding design and pedestrian safety introducing our supply records and maintenance sales service of our local distributor. As a result, we succeeded to supply 42 units of NABCO automatic doors with our latest advanced sensors, M Search in this large shopping mall.
This is the first installation of M Search, in Southeast Asia. Its high function to enhance the pedestrians’ safety and usability is evaluated.
With M Search and high quality automatic doors, Nabco is providing smooth, comfort, and safe passage to the entrances, corridors, escalator halls, and several places at Aeon Mall Long Bien are installed.
