E Hospital is one of the leading central general hospitals in Hanoi, playing a crucial role in medical examination, treatment, and community healthcare. A key unit within E Hospital is the Oncology Center, which specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and research of cancer – a field requiring high levels of expertise and modern medical infrastructure. The Oncology Center is a 13-story modern building with a total floor area of 12,589m², an investment of VND 568 billion, and a capacity of 150 inpatient beds. This reflects the project’s scale and significance in the national healthcare system.

The operating environment of the Oncology Center is highly specialized, requiring strict standards for hygiene, safety, and seamless operation to ensure sterility and treatment efficiency. With high foot traffic – including patients, doctors, and the constant movement of wheelchairs and stretchers optimizing circulation is essential. Moreover, cross-contamination control and energy efficiency are top priorities that the door system must meet.

To meet the stringent requirements for hygiene, safety, and continuous circulation, Sonha Auto was selected as the contractor to install a specialized hospital door system at the Oncology Center – E Hospital. Key installations included the complete surgical room door system and corridor automatic doors. Specifically, Sonha Auto installed 26 specialized operating room doors and 9 Swico SD60 sliding doors, all of which were custom-designed for medical environments. The project was successfully completed in January 2021, meeting both the timeline and all technical standards.
