National Children’s Hospital Branch 2 officially commenced operations on June 1, 2026, marking a new milestone in the development of Vietnam’s leading pediatric healthcare system. Supporting the completion of the project, Sonha Auto implemented the operating room door systems for National Children’s Hospital Branch 2, contributing to the completion of the technical infrastructure for the surgical area prior to the hospital’s official opening.

National Children’s Hospital Branch 2 officially begins operations
On June 1, 2026, National Children’s Hospital officially inaugurated and put into operation its Branch 2 facility in Kieu Phu Commune, Hanoi. This is a key healthcare project with an investment of more than VND 880 billion, aimed at expanding specialized pediatric healthcare capacity while reducing patient pressure on the main facility located on La Thanh Street.
Built on a site of nearly 6 hectares, the hospital includes an administrative building, paraclinical facilities, inpatient treatment areas, and a modern technical infrastructure system. In its initial phase, Branch 2 operates with a capacity of 300 inpatient beds, 11 clinical departments, and a full range of functional units supporting medical examination and treatment services.
The hospital is capable of receiving between 1,000 and 1,500 outpatient visits per day, focusing on specialties with high treatment demand. Branch 2 operates under the same professional standards, technical procedures, and human resource system as National Children’s Hospital, ensuring high-quality healthcare services from the very first days of operation.
In addition to its highly qualified medical staff, the hospital has been equipped with advanced medical equipment and modern technologies for pediatric diagnosis, treatment, and intensive care. One-way sterile operating rooms, laboratory systems, diagnostic imaging equipment, and various digital healthcare solutions have been implemented in a synchronized manner, contributing to a more modern, efficient, and patient-friendly healthcare environment.
Sonha Auto completes the installation of 11 operating room door systems for National Children’s Hospital Branch 2
During the completion of the hospital’s technical infrastructure, Sonha Auto installed 11 imported operating room door systems for the surgical area. This package forms an important part of the operating room door systems for National Children’s Hospital Branch 2, meeting the stringent operational requirements of a specialized healthcare environment.
The automatic operating room doors were specifically designed with high airtightness, stable operation, and suitability for environmental control requirements within surgical areas. The system was integrated with the hospital’s functional spaces, supporting the movement of medical staff, patients, and healthcare equipment throughout daily medical operations.
In addition to serving as a critical technical component, the hospital automatic door system also contributes to improved operational efficiency, optimized circulation, and the creation of a safer and more modern healthcare environment for users.
Previously, Sonha Auto also participated in the implementation of automatic door solutions at National Children’s Hospital Branch 1 (La Thanh).
