Recently, AEON Mall Hai Duong officially opened in Thach Khoi Ward, Hai Phong City. It is the 10th shopping mall of the AEON Group in Vietnam and the first medium-scale project of the retail brand in the Red River Delta region. As part of this major project, Sonha Auto supplied 12 sets of NABCO V-150SL-S automatic sliding doors, configured for a load capacity of 120 kg × 2 leaves, providing a smart, safe, and durable entrance solution for the mall’s entrance areas.

AEON Mall Hai Duong officially opens
AEON Hai Duong is AEON’s third medium-scale shopping mall in Vietnam, following the success of AEON Tan An and AEON Mall Da Nang Thanh Khe. The opening of the mall adds a modern shopping, dining, and entertainment destination for local residents and people from surrounding areas.
Located in a strategic position in Thach Khoi Ward, the project is situated along a major transport route connecting Hanoi with the regional center. According to published information, AEON Hai Duong is designed to serve approximately 330,000 residents within a 15-minute travel radius, targeting key customer groups such as young families, office workers, industrial park employees, and students.
A modern shopping and entertainment space for multiple generations
AEON Mall Hai Duong has a total floor area of approximately 38,100 m² across three above-ground floors, combining AEON’s own retail space with 37 premium specialty stores. The mall follows the “A Paradise for 3-Generation Families” concept, creating an experience-oriented destination for multigenerational families.
In addition to a diverse range of shopping and dining areas, the project features major entertainment facilities such as KID’S BOX JUMBO, GiGO, and AEON Beta Cinema. The mall also pioneers the application of various modern technologies to enhance the shopping experience, including AI-integrated scales, self-ordering and payment kiosks, electronic price tags, and smart parcel lockers with facial authentication.

For a shopping mall with high visitor traffic such as AEON Mall Hai Duong, entrance door systems play an important role in facilitating smooth movement throughout the building. The doors need to meet demanding requirements, including continuous opening and closing, fast response, accurate sensor detection, and safe operation for visitors of all ages.
To meet these technical requirements, Sonha Auto supplied 12 sets of NABCO V-150SL-S automatic sliding doors for the project. This premium model is imported from Japan and features a load capacity of 120 kg × 2 leaves, along with advanced sensor and safety sensor technologies.
The application of NABCO automatic doors at AEON Mall Hai Duong not only supports smooth and quiet pedestrian movement but also helps optimize long-term operating and maintenance costs for the project owner.
Continuing the partnership across AEON projects
The AEON Mall Hai Duong project marks another milestone in Sonha Auto’s ongoing partnership with the AEON network in Vietnam. Previously, Sonha Auto had implemented NABCO automatic doors at several AEON projects across the country, including 19 sets of NABCO Full Option automatic sliding doors at AEON Mall Da Nang Thanh Khe in July 2026 and 10 sets of NABCO automatic sliding doors at AEON Mall Tan An in September 2025.
The successful completion of 12 sets of NABCO V-150SL-S automatic sliding doors at AEON Hai Duong further demonstrates Sonha Auto’s ability to meet technical requirements for large-scale commercial projects.
