Park 6 Times City – A high-end apartment tower in the Park Hill subdivision
Park 6 is one of the apartment towers in the Park Hill subdivision of Vinhomes Times City Urban Area, located in the Minh Khai – Linh Nam area of Hanoi.
The building features 544 apartments, with a density of 16 apartments per floor and apartment areas ranging from 73.14 to 143 m². In addition to its green and private living environment, Park 6 is equipped with amenities serving residents’ daily needs, including a Lounge, reception and waiting areas, 24/7 camera surveillance, a children’s play area, and sports areas.
As a high-end apartment building, the lobby and entrance areas are also facilities that need to be appropriately designed and configured to meet residents’ frequent usage requirements.
Completion of the automatic door system in the lobby area
In August 2026, Sonha Auto completed the installation of 03 NABCO GT-1175 Break Out automatic sliding door systems at Park 6 Times City. The installation was carried out to simultaneously meet daily traffic flow, access control, and passageway widening requirements when necessary. This is also one of the automatic door systems for high-end apartment buildings implemented by Sonha Auto at Times City Urban Area.
The three door systems use synchronized NABCO equipment, including the operator, controller, guide rails, sensors, and mechanical accessories. The systems are configured according to the usage characteristics of each area within the building.
Increased passageway width with the Break Out mechanism
One of the notable features of the system at Park 6 is the Break Out mechanism integrated into all 03 door systems. Under normal operating conditions, the doors function as automatic sliding door systems. When a wider passageway is required, the door leaves and fixed panels can be folded open 90° by pushing, creating a larger opening.
This mechanism is particularly useful when large-sized goods or equipment need to be moved through the lobby area or when a wider passageway is required.

Combining sensors and facial recognition for access control
At the main lobby of Park 6, the doors are integrated with NABCO NSW-A01 sensors to help detect the direction of movement and distinguish between people approaching the door and those passing through the sensor area. Detecting the direction of movement helps limit unnecessary door activations, making the system suitable for areas with frequent traffic flow.

At Zone A and Zone B, the door systems are integrated with facial recognition readers on the outside. This solution supports access control for authorized areas while maintaining convenience during use.
NABCO GT-1175 meets operational requirements at the project
In addition to user-oriented features, the NABCO GT-1175 systems at Park 6 are equipped with solutions that support system operation, inspection, and maintenance.
CAN technology enables signals to be transmitted and exchanged between devices within the system, supporting coordination between the operator and controller during door opening and closing operations.
The movement system uses Urethane rollers combined with aluminum rails reinforced with stainless steel, supporting door leaf movement and minimizing wear during operation.
In addition, technicians can connect a PDA via Bluetooth to inspect and retrieve operating information without opening the technical box. This is one of the solutions that makes system inspection, diagnosis, and maintenance more convenient.
