NABCO automatic revolving doors – A modern highlight at The Marc 88 Grade A office building

Sonha Auto has recently completed the supply and installation of the NABCO automatic revolving door system for the main lobby of the Marc 88 Grade A office building, located at 88 Tran Thai Tong Street, Cau Giay District, Hanoi. This scope of work forms part of a modern entrance solution, contributing to the completion of operational standards and the overall image of the building.

The Marc 88 Grade A office building with impressive scale and design

The Marc 88 Grade A office building is developed with an impressive scale of 27 above-ground floors and 4 basement levels, offering a floor area of approximately 623 m² per floor. Thanks to its location on the key Tran Thai Tong arterial road, the building enjoys convenient connectivity to major administrative, economic, and western central areas of the capital.

Designed by AEDAS Vietnam, the project draws inspiration from the image of bamboo—a symbol of sustainability and flexibility. The building façade features an aluminum louver system combined with a high-performance glass curtain wall, creating a modern architectural highlight while optimizing natural daylight and energy efficiency. With integrated design and operational solutions, The Marc 88 meets green building standards and has achieved the international LEED Silver certification.

From the planning stage, the lobby area was identified as a key space that defines both the building’s image and the user’s first point of interaction. Accordingly, the entrance solution was required to simultaneously meet aesthetic, circulation, and operational efficiency requirements.

The system is designed to accommodate high pedestrian traffic, helping to organize circulation smoothly and minimize conflicts during peak hours. The NABCO RL-X revolving door integrates advanced safety features such as pedestrian and obstacle detection sensors, an emergency stop mechanism, and flexible rotation speed adjustment, ensuring safe and smooth operation.

In addition to improving traffic flow, the automatic revolving door helps stabilize the lobby’s indoor environment, reduce heat loss, and support energy savings for the building. The stainless-steel surface was selected to harmonize with the overall architectural language while maintaining long-term aesthetic durability.
