Overview of the AEON Mall Ha Dong Project
AEON Mall Ha Dong is the largest shopping center developed by AEON Group in Vietnam, with a total area of 150,000 m², featuring 2 basement levels, 4 above-ground floors, and 221 diverse stores ranging from dining and fashion to household goods and entertainment. This is AEON’s second mall in Hanoi and officially opened on December 5, 2019, creating job opportunities for around 3,000 local workers.
With a total floor area of 22,700 m² and a modern design, AEON Mall Ha Dong is not only a popular shopping destination but also a new symbol of infrastructure development in the western part of the capital. Notably, the mall was built with a comprehensive investment in “Japanese style,” emphasizing customer experience, safety, and operational efficiency.
NABCO Automatic Doors – A Symbol of Japanese Technology Installed by SonHa Auto at AEON Mall Ha Dong
SonHa Auto continues to assert its leading position in the field of automatic door solutions by being selected to install nearly 50 NABCO automatic doors from Japan at AEON Mall Ha Dong. The entire system was installed uniformly across key areas: 9 doors in the basement, 20 on the first floor, 4 on each of the second and third floors, and 17 on the fourth floor.
The selection of NABCO – a premium automatic door brand imported directly from Japan – reflects the investor’s strict standards for durability, safety, and performance in handling high daily foot traffic. To enhance wayfinding for customers across the vast premises, the door system was also color-coded by zone: yellow for the shopping area, blue for the entertainment zone, and purple for the dining area.
The AEON Mall Ha Dong project marks the sixth time SonHa Auto has installed automatic door systems for AEON shopping centers in Vietnam, following projects at AEON Tan Phu, Celadon, Binh Duong, Binh Tan, Aeon Mall Long Bien, and an international project in Cambodia. This further confirms SonHa Auto’s capability to meet high standards set by foreign corporations, especially Japanese contractors.
