Overview of AEON Mall Hai Duong

AEON Mall Hai Duong is a shopping mall within the AEON Japan network, officially opened on October 3, 2026, in Thach Khoi Ward, Hai Phong City. It is AEON’s 10th shopping mall in Vietnam and the first medium-scale AEON mall in the Red River Delta region.

The project is built on a site of approximately 35,700 m², with a total floor area of approximately 38,100 m², comprising three above-ground floors and approximately 26,000 m² of leasable area. The complex brings together an AEON shopping area, specialty stores, dining, entertainment, fashion, and healthcare services. Located along a major transport route connecting Hanoi with central Hai Phong, AEON Hai Duong is designed to serve approximately 330,000 residents within a 15-minute travel radius. The project also targets young families, office workers, students, and workers in industrial parks in the surrounding area.

One of the key highlights of AEON Hai Duong is its concept of “A Paradise for 3-Generation Families,” with spaces designed to accommodate multiple generations. The mall features a Kid’s Box Jumbo of approximately 1,000 m², a GiGO entertainment area, and AEON Beta Cinema, alongside shopping and dining areas.

Sonha Auto supplies 12 sets of NABCO automatic doors at AEON Mall Hai Duong

At the AEON Hai Duong project, Sonha Auto supplied 12 sets of NABCO V-150SL-S automatic sliding doors, configured for a load capacity of 120 kg × 2 leaves. This door system is designed for buildings requiring frequent opening and closing, with the equipment configuration selected based on the door leaf load and actual operating conditions.

Given the continuous operation of a shopping mall, automatic doors need to provide convenient opening and closing, stable operation, and suitability for the volume of people passing through. Selecting the appropriate configuration helps the equipment meet actual usage requirements and maintain reliable operation throughout the building’s operation.

Before the AEON Hai Duong project, Sonha Auto had supplied NABCO automatic doors at several projects within the AEON network, including AEON Mall Da Nang – Thanh Khe, AEON Mall Tan An, and other AEON shopping malls. Each project has its own scale and operating conditions, so smart entrance solutions are selected and implemented based on the specific requirements of each project.

With 12 sets of NABCO V-150SL-S automatic sliding doors installed at AEON Hai Duong, Sonha Auto continues to add another project to its ongoing partnership with the AEON network in Vietnam.
