Overview of Lotte Mall Tay Ho project scale

Located at 272 Vo Chi Cong Street, Tay Ho District, Hanoi, Lotte Mall West Lake Hanoi is currently one of the largest and most modern mixed-use commercial – service – hotel – entertainment complexes in Vietnam.

The project has a total investment capital of up to 600 million USD, commenced in 2020 and officially opened in September 2023.

This is the largest project of the Lotte Group in Vietnam, oriented to become a premium shopping, entertainment, and hospitality destination in the West Lake area. With a total floor area of approximately 354,000m², the complex includes a shopping mall, a 5-star hotel, serviced apartments, and modern Grade A office spaces.

The shopping mall area alone covers about 222,000m² with outstanding facilities such as:

• Lotte World Aquarium spanning 9,000m²
• Modern Lotte Cinema
• Food and shopping zones featuring many international brands
• Green spaces and premium experience areas

The project is designed following a modern open-architecture trend with large glass systems, optimizing natural daylight and creating a spacious, airy, and seamless spatial experience. Lotte Mall Tay Ho stands out with its contemporary design language, emphasizing overall aesthetics and spatial experience for users, contributing to shaping an international-style commercial and service complex in the western area of Hanoi.

Sonha Auto implements automatic sliding door systems at Lotte Mall Tay Ho

As a large-scale commercial – service complex with extremely high daily traffic flow, the automatic door system at Lotte Tay Ho must not only ensure continuous operation but also meet strict requirements for safety, stability, and aesthetics in a modern architectural environment.

At this project, Sonha Auto installed a total of 50 automatic sliding door sets, including:

• • 35 sliding door sets for restroom areas
  • 6 automatic door sets for smoking rooms
  • 9 automatic sliding door sets for office blocks

The entire door system was implemented in a synchronized manner, optimized for each functional area to ensure smooth and stable operation throughout the building’s lifecycle.

The NABCO automatic sliding door system not only meets technical requirements but also plays an important role in completing the entrance solution for the shopping mall, helping to optimize pedestrian flow, reduce manual operation workload, and enhance the user experience throughout the entire project space.
