Project Overview – Lao Cai Provincial Museum

Lao Cai Provincial Museum is a culturally and historically significant project in the Northwest region of Vietnam, serving as a symbol to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the province’s re-establishment. Strategically located in the city center, the museum is not only a place to preserve and showcase the rich cultural and historical heritage of local ethnic groups, but also an important destination for education, research, and community engagement.

The museum boasts an impressive scale with three floors, a total construction area of 3,976 m², and an investment of over VND 131 billion. With more than 2,000 m² dedicated to exhibitions, the museum currently houses 14,601 artifacts, including items made of stone, textiles, wood, paper, ceramics, metal, replicas, decorative pieces, and film materials.

In a uniquely cultural environment like a museum, the entrance system must meet a wide range of specific requirements: it must provide convenience for thousands of daily visitors, operate quietly to maintain the tranquil exhibition atmosphere, and ensure safety and strict access control. Additionally, the doors must help preserve the museum’s climate-controlled environment to protect valuable artifacts. The ultimate goal is to enhance the visitor experience, safeguard heritage items, and efficiently manage visitor flow.
