Serena Resort Kim Boi is one of the most ideal getaway destinations in Vietnam’s Northwest region. Located in Kim Boi Commune, Hoa Binh Province just about 70km from central Hanoi the resort offers a peaceful retreat away from the city’s hustle and bustle, nestled in untouched nature and surrounded by natural hot mineral springs.

Covering an area of 30 hectares with a total investment of 215 billion VND in phase I, Serena Resort blends high-end hospitality with therapeutic hot spring bathing, bringing guests a unique wellness and relaxation experience. The resort features 155 guest rooms across seven main categories: Executive, Executive Suite, Osaka Hill, Bamboo Bungalow, Rock Villa, and Grand Suite (VIP 1, 2, 3). Each room is designed with rustic charm, using natural materials such as bamboo and wood to reflect the serene spirit of Northwestern villages.

Serena Resort’s facilities include villas, bungalows, restaurants, a spa, and conference spaces catering to a wide range of needs, from leisure travel to corporate events and teambuilding. The Kim Boi hot spring remains the resort’s signature highlight, attracting guests seeking relaxation and natural rejuvenation.

In 2018, the NABCO automatic door system was put into operation at Serena Resort Kim Boi, serving the building’s entrance and access areas. In a resort environment, entrance doors need to accommodate frequent use while maintaining harmony with the overall space. The automatic sliding doors provide greater convenience for guests and staff while creating a more open and spacious feel in the lobby and service areas.

NABCO V-150SL-S automatic door replacement after years of operation

After years of operation, the automatic door system at Serena Resort Kim Boi was replaced with the NABCO V-150SL-S. The replacement was once again supplied and carried out by Sonha Auto based on the project’s actual operational requirements.

Continuing with NABCO provides continuity in the overall solution while meeting the need to upgrade the equipment after many years of use. The NABCO V-150SL-S was selected for the replacement project to support stable and convenient operation while maintaining harmony with the resort’s existing architecture.

From the original NABCO system installed in 2018 to the current NABCO V-150SL-S, Serena Resort Kim Boi has gone through a process of long-term operation and automatic door system upgrades. This experience also contributes to Sonha Auto’s practical expertise in monitoring, maintaining, and replacing automatic door systems at operating facilities.
