Overview of the Vung Bau Golf Clubhouse & Convention Centre project

Located on Vung Bau Beach (also known as Crescent Bay) in the northwest of Phu Quoc Island, Vung Bau Golf Course covers more than 65 hectares. It was designed by IMG, one of the world’s leading golf course design firms, and features an 18-hole course stretching 7,508 yards. The course takes full advantage of its coastal terrain, interweaving white sand dunes, sea breezes, and challenging golf holes to deliver a uniquely immersive playing experience.

At the heart of the golf course lies the Vung Bau Golf Clubhouse. In addition to its modern design and airy layout, the clubhouse impresses golfers with its premium amenities, including a restaurant, changing rooms, and showers, allowing players to relax and enjoy their game to the fullest. With extensive experience in implementing automatic door and smoke exhaust window systems for numerous large-scale projects, Sonha Auto was trusted as the partner to provide automatic door and smoke exhaust window solutions for Vung Bau Golf Clubhouse & Convention Centre.

In this project, Sonha Auto installed 50 sets of Deper automatic swing doors and 148 sets of Heinda automatic smoke exhaust windows, meeting strict requirements for operation, safety, and technical synchronization throughout the building. In particular, the smoke exhaust window system was strategically arranged at multiple locations within the building and integrated with an intelligent linked opening mechanism, allowing automatic simultaneous activation or operation according to pre-programmed scenarios upon receiving fire alarm signals.

This solution ensures fast and effective smoke extraction and natural ventilation, helping minimize damage and support safe evacuation during emergency situations. The entire system is designed for stable, smooth operation and is fully integrated with the overall fire protection and firefighting system of the project.

In addition to enhancing fire safety, the automatic smoke exhaust window system also supports natural ventilation under normal operating conditions, helping improve indoor air quality and optimize the building’s energy efficiency.
