Overview of the Park 6 Vinhomes Times City project

Park 6 Vinhomes Times City is one of the apartment towers in Phase 2 – Park Hill of the Vinhomes Times City complex, located in the Minh Khai – Linh Nam area of Hanoi. Park 6 offers 544 apartments, with a density of 16 apartments per floor and apartment areas ranging from 73.14 to 143 m², meeting the diverse needs of families. The tower is planned within a green landscape, combined with on-site amenities and shared amenities of Vinhomes Times City.

In addition to its living spaces, Park 6 features amenities such as a Lounge, reception and waiting areas, a 24/7 camera surveillance system, a children’s play area, and sports areas, providing a convenient living environment for residents.

Sonha Auto completes the installation of 03 NABCO Break Out automatic sliding doors at Park 6 Vinhomes Times City

Continuing the series of emergency automatic door projects at Times City, Sonha Auto has completed the installation of 03 NABCO GT-1175 Break Out automatic sliding doors at Park 6 Vinhomes Times City, providing an entrance solution for buildings that meets requirements for traffic flow, access control, and widening the passageway when necessary.

All 03 door systems use synchronized NABCO equipment, including the operator, controller, guide rail, sensors, and mechanical accessories. The systems are configured to suit the actual operating characteristics of each area of the building, meeting the requirements for automatic doors for high-end apartment buildings.

In particular, all door systems meet safety and quality requirements for automatic door systems, with relevant standards and certifications including:

• EN 16005 – Specifies safety requirements for the design and operation of automatic doors in Europe.
• JIS A 4722 – Japanese Industrial Standard relating to the quality, durability, and safety of automatic doors.
• TUV certification – Evaluates and confirms that products meet strict safety, quality, and reliability criteria before being put into operation.

Break Out function – Widening the passageway when necessary

All 03 door systems at Park 6 Vinhomes Times City are integrated with the Break Out function, allowing the door leaves and fixed panels to be folded open 90° by pushing. Under normal operating conditions, the door systems function as automatic sliding doors. When necessary, the Break Out mechanism allows the passageway opening to be widened, supporting the movement of large-sized goods and equipment or use in situations where a wider passageway is required.

Integration of NABCO NSW-A01 sensors and facial recognition systems

At the main lobby of Park 6, the door systems are equipped with NABCO NSW-A01 sensors, helping detect the direction of movement and distinguish between people approaching the door and those simply passing through the sensor area. This allows the system to limit unnecessary activations during operation.

At Zone A and Zone B, the automatic sliding door systems are additionally integrated with facial recognition readers on the outside, supporting access control while maintaining convenience during use.

NABCO – Automatic door solutions for buildings with high traffic volume

In apartment complexes with frequent pedestrian traffic such as Times City, entrance door systems must meet requirements for continuous operation throughout the building’s operation. Therefore, NABCO GT-1175 is equipped with solutions that support system operation, inspection, and maintenance, from communication technology to the movement mechanism and equipment inspection methods.

The system uses CAN communication to transmit and exchange signals between devices, supporting coordination between the operator and controller during door opening, closing, and other operating states.

The door also uses Urethane rollers combined with reinforced stainless steel aluminum rails, supporting door leaf movement and minimizing wear during use.

NABCO GT-1175 supports PDA connectivity via Bluetooth, allowing technicians to inspect and retrieve operating information without opening the technical box. As a result, the system inspection, diagnosis, and maintenance process can be carried out more conveniently.

These solutions enable the NABCO GT-1175 automatic sliding doors not only to meet daily operating requirements but also to support system inspection and maintenance throughout actual operation at the project.
