At the main lobby of Park 1, the NABCO GT-1175 folding sliding door system was installed with a specialized configuration, combining automatic sliding operation with a full Breakout function.

Under normal conditions, the door operates in automatic sliding mode, ensuring fast, smooth opening and closing suitable for continuous traffic flow. However, the highlight of this system lies in its ability to fully fold both door panels and sidelights to both sides at an angle of up to 90 degrees. This Breakout feature plays a critical role in real-life scenarios such as:

• Transporting bulky furniture and large items
• Handling high pedestrian traffic in a short time
• Expanding emergency exits during critical situations

In addition, the system is integrated with the NABCO NSW-A01 sensor, a key factor in ensuring operational accuracy. The sensor can detect both movement direction and speed, allowing the door to open only when there is a genuine intention to pass through—while ignoring passersby or people standing nearby.

As a result, unnecessary door openings are minimized, reducing air conditioning loss, optimizing energy efficiency, and extending system lifespan by lowering unnecessary operation cycles.

Notably, the GT-1175 Tele Breakout system at Park 1 still retains full Breakout functionality. This ensures not only flexibility in daily operation but also the ability to fully expand the passageway when required.
