Overview of Da Nang International Airport Project

Da Nang International Airport is the largest airport in the Central Highlands and Central Vietnam region and ranks third nationwide, after Noi Bai and Tan Son Nhat airports. The airport covers a total area of 842 hectares, with 150 hectares dedicated to civil aviation. It features two modern passenger terminals: Domestic Terminal T1 with 36,600 m² and International Terminal T2 with 48,000 m², both designed with full amenities to serve a large number of passengers daily. The technical infrastructure includes two runways measuring 3,500 m and 3,048 m, capable of handling large aircraft such as Boeing 747, 777, and Airbus A320/321. With 17 taxiways and aprons supporting 35 civil aircraft parking positions, Da Nang International Airport meets ICAO’s 4E standard, allowing continuous 24/7 operations..

SonHa Auto – Partnering with Da Nang International Airport in the Modernization Process

During the infrastructure upgrade for the APEC 2017 Summit, SonHa Auto Joint Stock Company was entrusted with supplying and installing the automatic door system at Da Nang International Airport. SonHa Auto installed 19 NABCO automatic doors – a renowned Japanese brand known for modern design, smooth operation, and high durability. Integrating the automatic door system not only enhanced the terminal’s aesthetics but also optimized passenger flow, ensuring safety and convenience throughout operations. This project stands as a testament to SonHa Auto’s capability and reputation in delivering automatic door solutions for large-scale, technically demanding projects.
