INSTALLATION OF NABCO AUTOMATIC DOORS AT NOI BAI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Terminal T1 – Noi Bai International Airport

Expansion Project of Terminal T1

As part of the aviation infrastructure upgrade plan, the expansion project of Terminal T1 – Noi Bai International Airport – officially went into operation at the end of 2013. With a total investment of VND 500 billion, the project added a modern E lobby, increasing the terminal’s passenger capacity by an additional 3 million passengers per year.

The entire building covers a floor area of 25,000 m² and features 3 above-ground floors and 1 mezzanine, including 5 departure gates and 2 arrival gates. This design creates a spacious and well-ventilated terminal, enhancing convenience for passengers. The operation of E lobby not only helped reduce congestion across the airport but also significantly improved service quality, offering passengers a modern, civilized, and comfortable experience from the moment they enter the largest airport in northern Vietnam.

Son Ha Auto Installs NABCO Automatic Door System at Terminal T1 of Noi Bai Airport

At this key project, Sonha Auto was selected as the contractor to supply and install NABCO (Japan) automatic door systems for the entire passenger terminal lobby area. The system includes five departure doors and two arrival doors, fully meeting the stringent technical standards required for aviation facilities with high passenger traffic volumes. In addition, Terminal T1 is the first facility to apply NABCO’s new-generation IS-N6000 infrared sensor, contributing to enhanced operational performance for the modern terminal.

The selection of NABCO automatic sliding doors for Terminal T1 reflects the high requirements for stability, safety, and continuous operation, ensuring smooth and reliable door performance during all peak hours.
