INSTALLATION OF 16 NABCO AUTOMATIC DOORS AT PHU BAI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, THUA THIEN HUE PROVINCE
Project Overview of Phu Bai Airport, Thua Thien Hue Province
Phu Bai International Airport is located in Zone 8, adjacent to National Highway 1A in Phu Bai Ward, Huong Thuy Town, Thua Thien Hue Province. It serves as a key aviation gateway for Central Vietnam, especially the central economic region centered around Thua Thien Hue. The T2 passenger terminal project began construction in 2020 and officially opened for operation in June 2023. The terminal features a total floor area of over 22,380 m², spans 3 modern floors, and has a design capacity of 5 million passengers per year, expandable to 9 million by 2030. The terminal’s architecture reflects the cultural identity of the former imperial capital, inspired by the traditional conical hat and communal house roofs, while integrating modern technology and eco-friendly operational systems.

SONHA AUTO – NABCO Automatic Door Solutions Elevate Convenience at Phu Bai International Terminal
As part of the expansion and upgrade of the T2 terminal at Phu Bai Airport, Sonha Auto is proud to have supplied 16 NABCO automatic sliding doors — a renowned brand from Japan. The system includes two product lines: the DSN-85 and NATRUS V150SL models, both engineered for durability, high sensitivity, and the ability to handle heavy foot traffic, making them especially well-suited for airport environments.

Installation and implementation of the NABCO automatic doors were carried out by Tasco, Sonha Auto’s official distributor in the Da Nang region. The doors are installed in key areas such as terminal entrances, check-in halls, passenger flow separation points, and security control zones, helping complete a modern automation solution for Phu Bai Airport. The project was completed on schedule, contributing to an enhanced passenger experience and improved operational efficiency for the international terminal.
