Project overview of Terminal T2 Tan Son Nhat International Airport

Tan Son Nhat International Airport, covering an area of 850 hectares, is the largest airport in Vietnam in terms of both area and terminal capacity (designed to handle up to 50 million passengers per year). It is the busiest airport in Vietnam, located 8 km north of downtown Ho Chi Minh City, in Tan Binh District. Tan Son Nhat International Airport is a vital transportation hub in the Southern region, serving as the main operating base for all Vietnamese airlines and the headquarters of the Airports Corporation of Vietnam, which manages all civil airports across the country.

To meet increasing transportation demands, the construction of Terminal T2 – the new international terminal – was launched as a major step forward in upgrading Tan Son Nhat’s infrastructure. With a modern design and a total floor area of 115,834 m² spread across four levels equipped with advanced technology, Terminal T2 not only boosts international handling capacity but also helps ease the load on the domestic terminal.
