SON HA AUTO INSTALLS NABCO AUTOMATIC DOORS AT TAN SON NHAT AIRPORT

Terminal T2 – Tan Son Nhat International Airport

Project Scale: Terminal T2 – Tan Son Nhat

Tan Son Nhat International Airport, covering an area of 850 hectares, is the largest airport in Vietnam in terms of both area and terminal capacity (designed to handle up to 50 million passengers per year). It is the busiest airport in Vietnam, located 8 km north of downtown Ho Chi Minh City, in Tan Binh District. Tan Son Nhat International Airport is a vital transportation hub in the Southern region, serving as the main operating base for all Vietnamese airlines and the headquarters of the Airports Corporation of Vietnam, which manages all civil airports across the country.

To meet increasing transportation demands, the construction of Terminal T2 – the new international terminal – was launched as a major step forward in upgrading Tan Son Nhat’s infrastructure. With a modern design and a total floor area of 115,834 m² spread across four levels equipped with advanced technology, Terminal T2 not only boosts international handling capacity but also helps ease the load on the domestic terminal. It offers passengers a seamless, safe, and premium travel experience.

Son Ha Auto installs 65 NABCO door systems at Terminal T2 – Tan Son Nhat Airport

Given the large scale, high operating standards, and heavy usage frequency, the automatic door systems at Terminal T2 were a top priority. Son Ha Auto, with nearly 20 years of experience in the field of automatic doors, was honored to be selected to supply and install all 65 NABCO automatic door systems (from Japan) for Terminal T2 of Tan Son Nhat Airport.

NABCO automatic doors are known for their outstanding quality, smooth and durable operation, and maximum safety. They are capable of 24/7 stable operation, equipped with multi-layer safety sensors and precise opening/closing mechanisms to effectively manage passenger flow, ensure smooth operation, and conserve energy. The successful installation of 65 NABCO doors at Terminal T2 reinforces Son Ha Auto’s construction capability, credibility, and brand reputation in national key airport projects.

Terminal T3 – Tan Son Nhat International Airport

Project Scale: Terminal T3 – Tan Son Nhat

On April 17, 2025, Terminal T3 at Tan Son Nhat International Airport officially launched its first trial flight, marking the start of the trial operation phase for one of Vietnam’s most significant transport infrastructure projects. With a total investment of nearly VND 11,000 billion, Terminal T3 features nearly 112,500 m² of floor space and a designed capacity of up to 20 million passengers per year. This project is expected to alleviate long-standing congestion at Tan Son Nhat and significantly enhance Ho Chi Minh City’s and Southern Vietnam’s aviation capacity.

SON HA AUTO provides intelligent entrance solutions for Terminal T3 – Tan Son Nhat Airport

Sonha Auto is proud to be the provider and installer of the NABCO automatic door system – an intelligent access solution for Terminal 3 at Tan Son Nhat Airport. The project includes a total of 92 automatic doors, featuring sliding doors at the main entrances and automatic doors for restrooms designated for people with disabilities. Notably, these restroom doors are also equipped with toilet control units to optimize convenience and accessibility for users. Previously, NABCO automatic doors were installed at the expanded Terminal 1 of Noi Bai International Airport (2013), Cat Bi Airport in Hai Phong (2010), Tan Son Nhat International Airport, and Cam Ranh Airport (2009). We are extremely proud and honored to have contributed to creating a smart, modern, and internationally standard space at Tan Son Nhat Airport. At the same time, Sonha Auto is committed to continuing to accompany key infrastructure projects across the country.
