Overview of the Viettel Giang Van Minh Building project

Viettel Building is strategically located at No. 1 Giang Van Minh Street, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi, right in the bustling administrative and commercial center of the capital. It serves as the main office of Viettel Military Industry and Telecoms Group (Viettel) and its member companies.

The building comprises 21 above-ground floors, with spacious floor areas, a modern working environment, and a synchronized technical infrastructure system. Featuring an open architectural design with extensive use of large glass panels, the building reflects the professional and modern image of one of Vietnam’s leading technology groups.

Sonha Auto installs automatic doors at Viettel Giang Van Minh Building

To meet the stringent requirements for convenience, safety, and continuous operation at the main lobby, Sonha Auto was selected to implement the automatic door system for the building.

The solution provided by Sonha Auto involved installing NABCO automatic sliding doors – a reputable Japanese brand in the automatic door industry. The door system was installed at the main entrance lobby, an area with high pedestrian traffic that requires stable and safe operation. The main objectives of the project were to optimize pedestrian flow, improve energy efficiency, and enhance the aesthetics and modern appearance of the lobby, thereby reinforcing the professional and high-tech image of Viettel.

Replacement of NABCO automatic doors after more than 20 years of operation

A notable feature of this project is that the original NABCO automatic door system was installed by Sonha Auto in 2006 and operated reliably for more than 20 years. When Viettel undertook renovations and upgrades to the main lobby, the existing doors were still performing very well and were replaced to align with the building’s new architectural design.

As part of this upgrade, Sonha Auto installed the NABCO V-150SL-S automatic sliding door system with a load capacity of 120 kg × 2 leaves, combined with the NABCO NS-A01 intelligent safety sensor.

After more than two decades of operation, the continued presence of NABCO at Viettel Giang Van Minh Building, now through the NABCO V-150SL-S, serves as clear evidence of the durability of Japanese equipment and the continued trust placed in Sonha Auto.
