Overview of the Office of the President project

The Office of the President is headquartered at No. 12 Ngo Quyen Street, Hoan Kiem Ward, Hanoi, in the area of the former Northern Palace. It serves and supports the activities of the President and Vice President, while also carrying out domestic and foreign affairs and administrative tasks of the Office.

The headquarters was put into use to meet the requirements for daily operations, receiving guests, and organizing activities of the Office of the President, with high requirements for security, safety, quality, and suitability for a central-level administrative building.

Sonha Auto installs automatic door and smoke exhaust window systems for the Office of the President

At the Office of the President, Sonha Auto implemented two scopes of work, including 01 set of Japanese-imported Mini Fold Alpha automatic folding door and 40 sets of automatic smoke exhaust windows. The two solutions were installed for different usage requirements, in accordance with the building’s operating requirements and specific characteristics.

At the entrance, Sonha Auto supplied and installed 01 set of NABCO Mini Fold Alpha automatic folding doors imported from Japan. Unlike sliding doors, which move horizontally, the door system operates by folding the door panels when opening, helping optimize space and maintain a clear passageway at the installation location.

The folding door design is also suitable for areas where a balance is required between traffic flow, usable space, and aesthetics. For an administrative building, selecting a door system with a compact design that complements the overall space also contributes to a consistent appearance during operation.

40 automatic smoke exhaust windows deployed at the project

In addition to the folding door system, Sonha Auto also deployed 40 sets of automatic smoke exhaust windows at the Office of the President. Smoke exhaust windows are one of the solutions that support the control of smoke and hot gases within a building. When properly positioned and integrated with relevant technical systems, the windows can provide an outlet for smoke and hot gases from areas requiring control, supporting safety measures in the event of an incident.

Implementing this scope of work requires the equipment to be suitable for the installation location, control method, and actual operating requirements of the building. This is also a basis for selecting a suitable entrance solution from the implementation stage.
